LITURGY OF THE WORD 1st READING ISAIAH 55:6-9 (Seek the Lord) Seek the Lord. His ways are far above human ways. The thoughts of God are not the thoughts of human beings. God is rich in forgiving.
RESPONSORIAL PSALM Ps 145 (The Nearness of God) The Lord is near to all who call up to him.
2nd READING PHILIPPIANS 1:20c-24, 27a (Life in Christ) Paul notes that whether he lives or dies, his life belongs to Christ. It would be more beneficial for the Philippians for Paul to continue living in the flesh to bring them the message of Jesus. THE GOSPEL OF MATTHEW 20:1-16 (Forgiving Our Neighbor) Jesus teaches that the Kingdom of God is like a landowner who hires early in the morning, again at midmorning, at noon, and at midafternoon. At payment time, all the workers receive the same wage.
NEWS, INFO, & EVENTS SCRIP orders are due on the first weekend of every month. Order forms are located at the entrances.
