The Church teaches that although some of the authorities of Christ's time bear responsibility for carrying out his execution, this charge must not be laid against all the Jewish people of Jesus’ day or of our own. We are all responsible for sin and for our Lord's suffering. RESPONSORIAL PSALM 16 (Divine Security) Lord, you will show us the path of life.
2nd READING 1st LETTER OF SAINT PETER 1:17-21 (Conduct Yourselves Reverently) As followers of Jesus, we have been ransomed by his Blood. Through him, we are believers in God who raised Jesus from the dead. Our faith and hope are in him. THE GOSPEL OF LUKE 24:13-35 (Christ is Lord) To disciples who do not recognize Jesus walk with him. Cleopas tells about Jesus - his miracles, Passion, Death, and Resurrection, and the hope Israel had in him. Finally in the breaking of bread, they see that Jesus is with them, truly risen.
SCRIP SCRIP orders are due on the first weekend of every month. Order forms are located at the entrances. PRAYER REQUESTS Please email any prayer requests to Kathy Karmire. (karmire54@gmail.com)

K of C Silver Rose Ceremony Join with the Knights of Columbus for the annual Silver Rose ceremony to be held at Mt. St. Francis at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday May 16th. Every year, eight cast silver roses make their way across North America from Canada to Mexico. The silver roses are then presented before Our Lady of Guadalupe, on her feast day in December. On Saturday May 16, our area has the opportunity to pray before a silver rose on its pilgrimage. Please join the Knights for this unique experience.
