Today the law of grace and purification from sin was announced. Three Thousand were baptized. RESPONSORIAL PSALM PS 104 (Renewal by the Spirit) “Lord, send out your Spirit, and renew the face of the Earth.”
2nd READING Corinthians 12: 3b-7, 12-13 (Grace of the Spirit) No one can confess the divinity and sovereignty of Jesus unless inspired by the Holy Spirit. Different gifts and ministries are given but all for the one body with Jesus.
The Gospel of John 20: 19-23 (Christ Imparts the Spirit Jesus breathes on the disciples to indicate the conferring of the Holy Spirit. Here we see the origin of power over sin, the Sacrament of Penance. This shows the power of the Holy Spirit in the hearts of human beings.
